Steven J. Barber (Partner)Steven J. Barber is admitted to the Connecticut and Massachusetts bar. He also practices in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and the District of Massachusetts. In his practice, he has been involved in a wide range of civil litigation matters including personal injury, premises liability, products liability, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, declaratory judgment actions seeking determinations of coverage, and appeals in both Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Attorney Barber is also a member of the Connecticut Defense Lawyer's Association and has been an associate editor for its publication of The Defense in which he has published articles relating to premises liability. Attorney Barber is also a member of the Connecticut and Massachusetts Bar Associations. Attorney Barber received his BA from Stonehill College and earned his law degree from Western New England College School of Law. While in law school he was selected to the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Team, an appellate advocacy competition. Attorney Barber is a lifelong resident of the Middlesex County area, and he resides in Cromwell with his wife and two daughters.
